WAG Director is poemed by Gloe Cormie

Winnipeg Art Gallery Director, Pierre Arpin, listens as I read Ode to Vermeer's Woman Pouring Milk, from my book Sea Salt, Red Oven Mitts and the Blues. In a moment of synchronicity after the reading, I discovered that Vermeer is his all-time favourite painter as well as mine. Pierre Arpin also fondly recalled our supporter of RAP, the Victoria Read Society (which I haven't yet seen), as an aesthetic white and green building nearby a magnolia tree with blooms so big they seem to weigh the tree down.
